Curriculum
Our curriculum is geared toward mastering positive self-esteem while simultaneously developing pre-readiness skills necessary for future tasks such as reading, writing, and mathematics. A great deal of emphasis is placed on physical and social development. Critical thinking, receptive and expressive language, gross and fine motor skills are just some of the areas we concentrate on.
Entrance Requirements
To attend the three-year-old program, children must be three years old on or before December 1st of that school year. To attend the four-year-old program, children must be four years old on or before December 1st of that school year. To attend the Universal Pre-K program, the child must have been placed here by the Valley Central School District following all guidelines set forth by the school district for UPK. All children must be able to use the bathroom independently.

Specials
Full Day UPK students at Montgomery have daily “Specials” just like elementary school students in our school district. Students will receive focused classes in Art, Music and Physical Education every week. Visit our “Weekly Specials” page for more information.
2025-26 Tuition
Mommy and Me – 1 day – $160 for a 7-week session
3- year- old class – 2 day- $200 per month
3- year- old class- 3 day- $300 per month
3- year- old class – 5 day – $500 per month
4-year-old class – 5 day- Half Day- $500 per month
Before and After Care
A new service at Montgomery Nursery School is before care from 8:00 AM until classes start and after care which will run from 3:00 PM until 4:30 PM. The cost is $8.00 per half-hour.
